Why Craften Studio Exists
When we looked at the creative content landscape in Kolkata, we saw the same problem everywhere:
- Established production houses charged premiums that only big brands could afford
- Freelancers were inconsistent — great one month, unavailable the next

FOUNDER NOTE
A Note From Our Founder
I’ve been telling stories through a lens since 2016 — starting with short films and YouTube videos with friends, learning how to frame a shot, how to direct a moment, how to make something ordinary feel cinematic.
Over the years I worked on weddings, short films, and picked up formal training in cinematography and photography. I also built skills in digital marketing, creative direction, and production planning. What I kept seeing, no matter where I looked, was the same gap: brilliant creators and growing businesses in Kolkata who deserved better content than what was available to them at a price they could actually afford.
That gap is exactly why Craften Studio exists.
You brief us once. We take it from there — directing every shoot, guiding every creative decision, and managing every deliverable until it’s exactly right.
